Computer Imaging

We believe in the power of visuals! It always generates excitement with our cosmetic patients when we show them exactly how their new smile will look. At Sophisticated Smiles we take a digital photo of your teeth and smile. Then we digitally transform it on screen, using a special software program to show you how you will look after your cosmetic dental treatment. As you see your smile 'before' and 'after', you can give us feedback, ask questions we will create the right image that will make you look your best. Throughout the process, we'll only show you results that we can realistically achieve at our Johnson City dental practice.

Intra-0ral Camera

We use an intraoral camera during our new patient examinations to help with early detection. This process allows both Dr. Cameron and the patient an opportunity to see potential problems that may occur in your mouth before you feel them. We also use this camera as an application to record all aspects of dental aesthetics, as an aid to discussion and for treatment planning so that you are informed and confident.

With modern technology early treatment can maximize the life of your natural teeth and prevent costly future oral health problems.

Our intra-oral camera is about the size of a pen, so it fits easily into your mouth. Once positioned, it sends pictures to a monitor, where your teeth and gums appear in a full-color, usually as a very large image. These images can also be printed out for your treatment file.

We also use the following state-of-the-art dental equipment to provide premier and painless dentistry!

Air polishing – This is a wonderful way to polish your teeth gently and comfortably.

Ultrasonic cleaning – This modern method of cleaning use sound waves to clean your teeth and is very effective.
